Printa 770 Series - The Clever Technology
How we make the 770 series so
incredibly easy to setup
The Printa 770 Series manually operated screen
printer is a marvel of engineering concept and design.
Available in a range of configurations, this modular
machine is the machine of choice in this market place,
and is designed to offer tremendous printing flexibility
and versatility.
The 770 series has many outstanding features,
such as a patent pending screen registration system
and integrated UV unit, on-board flash curing and a
screen storage and drying cabinet, all contained in
one compact body. The taper pin alignment feature guarantees
exact registration of colour separations, and a clever
pin aligned UV exposure unit allows artwork to be registered
easily before committing the design to the screen. Here
is how it all works...

The key to quick and efficient screen making
starts with a few simple ideas:
- 1. Pin alignment feature guarantees
exact registration of colour separations
- 2. Cool white light for visual
alignment of multiple film registration
- 3. Ultra violet light source for
screen exposure
- 4. Screen arm alignment module
- guides the screen arm into the correct alignment
- 5. A pressure switch activates
the UV light only when the screen is lowered into
position
- 6. Programmable digital timer counts
elapsed exposure time
- 7. Master power on/off switch for
light table
- 8. Precision engineered, heat
treated aluminium castings ensure exact screen registration
- 9. Screen to platen adjustment
control (parallel axis screen to platen)
- 10. Clamp portal for automatic
screen registration
- 11 Adjustable screen clamps
- 12. Tapered screen pins nest into
clamp portal for precision re-alignment and registration
- 13 Screen height adjustment of
screen to platen
- 14. Over centre screen arm position
springs
- 15. Aluminium screen frame assembly
