Four / Eight Station Eight Colour Screen Printer

The Printa 880 Series manually operated screen printer is a free standing traditional screen printing system that can be supplied as either a four station or eight station unit. Although different in design to the 770 series, the 880 uses the same tap pin screen alignment system and exposure unit. Accessories such as the Print All, athletic numbering system and jacket hold down system can be utilised on the 880 screen printer.

The taper pin alignment feature guarantees exact registration of colour separations, and a clever pin aligned UV exposure unit allows artwork to be registered easily before committing the design to the screen.

Our patented dual pin registration system helps to reduce the time spent on both pre-press screen work and machine setup time. The dual function exposure unit also functions as a light table and is attached directly to the press for on-board, in registration exposure.

How Do I Cure Printed Items On The 880 System?

We recommend the use of a conveyor tunnel dryer to cure any Plastisol based screen printing ink, and although it is possible to use the standard flash cure unit to cure between colours, we would not suggest using this device for the final heat cure.
