Printa 990 Pad & Screen Printing System
The platinum system
The Printa 990 Series manually operated pad printer is a marvel of engineering concept and design. Available in a range of different configurations, this modular machine is the machine of choice in this market place, and is designed to offer tremendous printing flexibility and versatility.
The 990 is compact and can be located on a small worktable, and can be used by almost anyone!
What is included?
Included with the Platinum package is the single colour pad printer, rotary screen printing upgrade (conversion parts only, not a second machine body), consumable supply packs for both pad and screen printing, tunnel dryer and modular exposure unit. A fully comprehensive technical training manual and video CD are also supplied to ensure a quick and simple startup.
The 990 series pad printer can also be upgraded to two colour operation at any time. The screen printing system is intended as a single colour printer only.
When you purchase a Printa 990 pad and cylindrical screen printing system, everything that is needed to begin printing after delivery of the system is included with each package - all you provide are the items that need printing and some time to learn how to use the machine.
The Printa 990 pad and screen printing system is a true turn-key solution for any business, and like all our products, it comes with after sales support that is second to none!
Modular design
The Printa 990 machine body has been designed with flexibility and upgradeability as core features. As a result, it is possible to use the same machine for both screen printing and pad printing simply by removing certain parts and installing some additional components.
This upgrade path can be used at any time - either when the machine is first purchased or at a later date during ownership. The conversion from a single colour pad printer to a cylindrical screen printing system takes less than 10 minutes.
Users that would like to have the option of a stand alone pad and screen printer can choose to purchase an additional machine body that could be configured for either application. This allows the machine to be ready for either application or allows two operators to use both systems at the same time!
Optional accessories
To further enhance the pad and screen printers that forms part of the Platinum system, we can offer a two colour upgrade for the pad printer and a flat screen printing attachment for the screen printing machine.
Consumbables supply pack
A full consumables supply pack for both the pad printer and screen printing system is provided with each Platinum package.
The inclusion of these packs ensures that you are up and running as soon as you receive the equipment - all you have to find are products to personalise!
The supply packs include a full technical training manual and video CD so training time to learn how to use the two systems is kept to an absolute minimum. These training tools are so good that we are can offer the systems to clients who we never actually meet!
Print and cure at the same time
The Printa 990 Platinum package also includes a conveyor based tunnel dryer that can be used not only to increase production volumes, but allows difficult substrates that are not solvent sensitive to be printed.
The type of product that require the use of a tunnel dryer include metals, glass, ceramics and even certain solvent insensitive plastics.
A conveyor based tunnel dryer is the simplest way to achieve higher production volumes and shorter turn-around times in any busy print environment. Whilst the capital investment in such equipment may seem high, it must be remembered that without this tool, it will be difficult to achieve a consistent and reliable, long lasting print onto products made from the previously stated materials.
