Polymer Stamp Making UV Exposure Unit

Axos - the flexible, multifunction choice

An entry level unit with digital control

Axos pressure pad UV exposure unit for polymer stamp making

Following on from the success of the standard range offered, Dalesway has modified a current machine to offer the Axos 315R combination UV unit for the production of liquid based rubber stamps. The unit can still be used to produce items other than rubber stamps thus adding to the versatility of the machine.

Along with the machine, we can supply as an optional extra (at additional cost) a glass assembly unit that fits inside the exposure area and it is inside this item that the liquid stamp is produced.

The Axos 315R remains a pressure pad unit for the production of negatives and plate material, but this facility is not required when liquid stamps are being processed. With this in mind, the foam pressure pad is removed from the machine when not required and the glass assembly system is put in its place.

Designed to be multi-functional

When the Axos 315R is being used to process materials other than liquid stamps, the glass assembly system is removed and the pressure pad system can then be utilised to ensure high quality definition onto materials such as pad and foil printing plates, ID-MARK imaging system, sand blasting stencils and PCB's.

For clients that wish to use the liquid polymer sachet system for making stamps, the Axos 315R can be used. However, in order to retain the flexibility to offer both traditionally produced liquid stamps and the more modern sachet based stamps, the Axos 315R unit with glass assembly will be required.

Operation of the unit is simple. Raise the top lid, then unclamp the lower lid and raise this section of the machine. Place the substrate material on the foam sheet, then place the artwork on top of the substrate. Close the lid and fasten the two clamps. Finally, close the top lid, then set the exposure time in seconds.

During exposure, the timer counts down and once the cycle is completed, the display returns to the original setting and flashes to show the cycle has finished.

The Axos system is presently available only with a working area of 33 x 25cm.
