Screen Printing, Pad Printing,& Hot Foil Printing

Versatile printing methods for promotional printing and industrial marking.

Screen printing is a popular and widely used method for printing onto a wide variety of products. These products are generally either flat or cylindrical. Ink is required for this process.

Printed Promotional Products

Pad printing can be carried out onto surfaces that are not flat and is the most versatile technique for product decoration. This is also an ink based printing process.

Hot foil printing is used to add shiny metallic finishes to a wide variety of products, mostly flat in nature. It is a totally dry print method, making it very convenient.

Together these three techniques cover a very wide range of printing requirements.

Some products may only lend themselves to being printed in one specific way, while others may be compatible with the use of one or more methods. An example would be a product with a flat surface and an image area that could be personalised using either print methodology. The deciding factor to select a suitable machine to print the product in such a case would be to some extent at least, user preference.

Another consideration would be, which printing technique would offer more scope for your particular business?

Tampo printing is an extremely versatile printing method that is widely used both for decorating manufactured products and adding company logos to promotional items. It is often the ideal add-on to an existing printing business as it will considerably widen the range of products that can be decorated in-house.

You can tampo print onto a vast variety of products with complex shapes and do so as easily as if they were flat.

Dalesway offer a range of technologically advanced, semi-automatic tampo printing machines that are manufactured in Europe, as well as the very best manual system that money can buy - the Printa 990 system.

Hot stamping is also a versatile process in it's own right, but very different as the process uses no wet inks. The effects that can be created with foil can be quite stunning and the unique look of shiny metallic prints is hard to beat on the right product.

There is another process called embossing or debossing that can be carried out with the same machine that you would use for standard hot stamping, and this can add a very classy touch to the right product.
