Below are some answers to the most commonly asked questions about the Vastex V1000 and V2000 systems.
The V1000 screen printing system is an entry level product that has can be purchased in various configurations up to and including a 4 station, 6 colour carousel. The V2000 carousel is a premium heavy duty product that can be supplied in anything up to a 10 station, 10 colour system. There are fundamental differences is build quality between the two systems which is backed up by a 25 year warranty on the V2000 product range. When it comes to upgrading, the V2000 has a large number of different options whilst the V1000 can only ever be a maximum of 4 stations and 6 colours.
Yes. Any V1000 system can be ordered with a heavy duty head upgrade that will allow heavier screens to be used. This option would also allow the DiGit numbering system to be used on a V1000 system. The heavy duty head upgrade can be carried out to any existing V1000 system and not just with new models.
Most systems are supplied as floor standing models and can be fitted with optional castors for easy movement if required. However, a number of smaller models in both ranges can also be supplied as table top units, or can even be fitted to our optional utility cart.
Yes. Vastex pallets are easily changed and their all steel construction makes them warp free when used with our range of infra red flash cure units. Unlike wooden pallets, Vastex pallets may never need to be changed, and if the rubber top does get damaged for any reason, this can be changed quickly and easily without the need to replace the entire pallet.
Yes. Both systems have micro adjustment control for registration purposes. However, if you are looking for the best control system, this is found on the V2000 models.
Whilst the answer to this question is easy, the logic behind it extends to more than just the press itself. Complex prints should be done on the V2000 system, but you will also need to ensure you have access to the best film positives and a high quality vacuum bed exposure unit such as the products we offer.
This will depend on the configuration of the chosen system. A typical V1000 4 station carousel will need 2.25 metre diameter floor space and the V2000 around 2.5 metres diameter. A larger V2000 system such as the 8 station, 8 colour will increase to 3.5 metres in diameter.
This will depend on how many people are used at the machine, the number of colours in the design and the size of the tunnel dryer used to cure the printed shirts. Please feel free to discuss your intended use of our systems and how you intend to configure them and we will do our best to provide production capacity estimates.
